Business Development Manager – London

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager or Financial Services Recruitment Consultant with experience in AML, Compliance or Risk looking to change direction.

The company: This is an exciting and growing start up which provides enhanced due diligence services. Its clients are largely based within Financial Services, Private Equity, Legal and other highly regulated sectors and the company is looking to expand into other areas including Recruitment and HR.  The company’s technology helps businesses identify risk, screen new employees with additional confidence therefore safeguarding their investment and building reputational resilience.   Its platform is revolutionary and will be a game changer in its market.

The role: Supported by a well organised sales function, this Business Development Manager role concentrates on generating new sales via direct new business, channel partners and distribution networks. It will involve managing existing and new relationships, educating clients about the benefits of the company’s innovative proprietary platform, analysing market trends and attending networking event and holding seminars.  It is ideal for an ambitious Business Development Manager or even a Recruitment Consultant who is looking to change direction whilst using their strong Financial Services network.

The candidate: As a commercially astute and strategic thinking Business Development Manager or Recruitment Consultant, you will have a minimum of four years’ client facing sales experience, coupled with knowledge of Financial Services, HR and Recruitment or Background Screening. Candidates with a network of contacts within, AML, Compliance or Risk will attract specific interest. You will have limitless reserves of energy and ideas, thrive on working in a fast paced and frequently changing environment and be a self starter with strong organisational and planning skills with a strong work ethic and high integrity.

The package: The base salary is up to £60k, supplemented by a transparent personal commission structure giving an OTE in excess of £100k.
